We're back and ready for action!

After a brief leave of absence for both Cameron and I, Robin, we are back ready and rearing to go. While we were away, Shared Hope International hosted an extremely successful community training in Rendmond, Washington called “Do You Know Lacy.” Here are some articles documenting the city’s response:

These give a great overview of where this issue is in the Northwest’s public conscience. This is the model of training that will be used in Whatcom County for the November 3rd training by the same name.

For some detailed information about the DMST Deterrence and Victim Support Act which has been reintroduced to the US Senate in March read through the linked article. This act would free up some very necessary funds for counter-human trafficking efforts, specifically for confidential housing and case management.

Currently we are planning on hosting the Whatcom County Shared Hope training, Do You Know Lacy on...

NOVEMBER 3rd.

We also have a new email address for those of you with questions or interest in our activities.

BridgesCoalition@gmail.com

Bridges Coalition Newsletter will now be updated weekly so feel free to forward it on to anyone interested in this issue or interested in the work locally. This will be a place you can come to to keep up on news regarding Domestic Minor Sex Trafficking and what we are doing as a Coalition

Thank you,

Robin Meyer
